What airlines say about us
KURA stands out for their accountability and follow up for quality of their graduates. Their active link between training and airline means we can work together to get the right candidates prepared in the best way for our requirements.
Flybe recognises the value of modular trained pilots. In order to ensure modular trained pilots have the same opportunities traditionally available to integrated trained pilots, Flybe endorses an innovative new programme: Kura Aviation’s BESTPILOT programme.
I have had the pleasure of working closely with KURA since 2014 and can testify to the professionalism, commitment and dedication of all involved. In an industry that has developed a seemingly unquenchable thirst for new pilots it is easy for the inexperienced to make ill informed and poor choices. I have always been impressed that KURA’s primary concern is for the well being of aspiring pilots and to ensure that they receive the best advice and training to prepare them for a career in airline flying.
Since my first association with KURA I have recruited significant numbers of KURA trained pilots into two airlines. All of these individuals have impressed me with their determination, resilience and dedication. These basic qualities, which have often been tested to the extreme in pursuing their chosen career, have been further honed by KURA training and development to produce confident and well prepared airline ready pilots. I can say with conviction that they are a match for any other new pilot entering the industry by any other route.
What KURA set out to do was innovative and ground breaking. The modular path into airline flying was once a very rocky road with an uncertain outcome. The work that KURA has done to smooth that road and support the dedicated young people who are on it has opened up a once neglected pool of talent and done an enormous service to the airline industry. That this has been achieved while at the same time genuinely caring about all those who pass through KURA’s door shows that in this sometimes cut throat business there can still be room for the personal touch.
