I qualified from a well known modular training school at the back end of Summer 2014. At this time the job market was low and many opportunities were being given to people qualifying from school via an airline scheme, the future wasn’t looking rosy for me.
As a newly qualified pilot all I wanted to do was fly, so I became an instructor and built my hours up, though this didn’t give me the advantage I had hoped when it came to applying for jobs.
I had heard of Kura some time before I enrolled, as a new company they offered some attractive propositions and as time went on, good news spread about their seemingly amazing ability at getting people like myself, modular trained and out of a job for a some time, positions in reputable airlines. Despite my love for instructing, flying for a commercial airline was my dream, so I signed up to Kura with a hope of achieving that dream.
From the moment of first contact, I was treated with a respect that I’ve not found in the training industry. Kura treated us all as professionals from day one, giving us the tools and skills required to not only be a pilot, but to be at a standard which some of the best airlines in the industry look for. Their interview workshop gave me the skills to excel in the airline interview, using methods to answer tricky airline interview type questions with confidence. The skills I learnt through Kura were invaluable in me getting my first job at BA Cityflyer.
Kura is a genuine stand out company in the flight training industry. Their course is second to none, their passion for helping others is remarkable and I cannot thank them enough for the help and support they gave me to get me where I am today.
